Wellness means more than feeling good. It’s also “right” thinking. By “right” I mean, “positive thinking.”
The challenges that life brings in just one day, often makes me feel hopeless & weak. Those are the moments in life that my future is actually forming…becoming that which I am thinking. And that is a bit scary to me!
I want things to go well for me, but thinking negative thoughts, thoughts of anger and resentment…get in the way!
But the decision is ultimately mine…
- “How long will I stay angry?”
- “Am I frowning?”
- “Is my forehead still wrinkled?”
- “That was funny…So why aren’t I laughing?”
These are some of the questions I have to ask myself in times of stress & tension….pain & conflict.
Take the time, instead, to reflect on the Unchangeable Constant, those things that bring Hope like, for instance, the Unseen. And realize…millions didn’t make it, but I was one of the ones who did!
…And don’t forget, if you have clean, running water, you are blessed! Water is always good for your body. So, if you are fortunate enough to have it, Use it, Enjoy it!
There’s the smile of a loved-one. There’s the hope that a new day brings! If you woke up this morning, there is a chance for another chance.
